Semi-Supported Tour

Unlike many of our tours, the Tahiti tour does not have a support vehicle accompanying you during the cycling. The ferry we use take only passengers and two wheeled vehicles, so difficult to move a sagwagon from island to island with the group. Your guide carries tools and spares in the event of mechanical issue and a lift by taxi or hotel car is only a phone call away.

Your baggage is transferred from the ferry piers to our hotels and back again, no panniers needed. And in the event you are not up for the ride to the ferry, transfers can be arranged in the hotel's van. The ferry crews handle of loading and unloading baggage and bicycles, so we travel with ease (we do walk our bikes onto the Mo'orea-Tahiti ferry, but not the others.).
